Younger Next Year: Live Strong, Fit, and SexyUntil You're 80 and Beyond Oct 08, 2009 This is an amazing book full of good sense and very humorous and easily readable. Every time you read it you find new ideas and are re-inspired. I can honestly say I am fitter now at 65 than I was at 50 and enjoying the program as well. John, Auckland New Zealand
Life changing. Gives old fart hope. Sep 24, 2009 I read this book almost a year ago and it has changed the way I view the next part of my life. I'm following most of what Chris recommends and it has made a great difference in my life. I've recommended the book to several friends and have given it to many, including my wife (Younger Next Year for Women). This is really different from anything I've ever read. Very entertaining style. Quick read.
Aging is better than I thought Sep 18, 2009 This book changed my perspective about the aging process. The lessons it teaches are valuable towards maintaining an active lifestyle beyond what you might be expecting.
Perfect Gift for a recently retired relative Sep 14, 2009 Full of easy to follow lifestyle advice; basically helping plan and implement some very basic, but key, daily habits.
I'm not 50 just yet, and bought it as a gift, but my few-minutes of skimming turned into an evening of engrossed reading through most of the book. I have already made a couple of what I believe will be profitable decisions to change some of my less-than-healthy tendencies to grab and eat starchy simple-sugar laden foods, and integrate more than a few healthy habits into my routine, starting with my local farmer's market and plans for an easy pot garden. We've already begun setting aside a slice of time before dinner to get out for some intense walking or a bike ride - and that's all the first week, and I'm giving the book away...may have to grab another copy. ;)
Truly 'Younger next year' Sep 12, 2009 I'm 60 years old and love this book. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be 'younger next year'. If you will do what they say and stay with it, it can work wonders in your life too. I plan on buying more and giving them as gifts!
