A Decent, If Uninspired, Release Sep 18, 2008 'You Nasty' is not a surprising album from Too $hort. In terms of his post-retirement albums, this one would land somewhere in the middle in terms of quality.
Lyrically, it contains the same lyrics about pimpin' that you've come to expect from Too $hort by now. The only thing is, his rhymes on here are rather mediocre, and this release will sound repetitive if you've heard a few of his prior releases.
Fortunately, his flow on tracks like 'You Nasty', 'She Know', and 'Nation Riders Anthem' are on point. The beats are above average for the most part as well. Unfortunately, due to the tired lyrics, 'You Nasty' is a standard Too $hort release that will mostly appeal only to his hardcore fan base.
Standout tracks: 'Pimp ****', 'Nation Riders Anthem', 'Old School'
5 Stars Apr 17, 2008 Too Short is the Ultimate PIMP - If you like this album check out Smoke Sessions, Vol. 1 - from his homie Devin the Dude another 5 Stars
You Nasty Nov 20, 2006 Short remains steadfast w/this release. Production varies, even E. Sermon drops by w/a dope beat for Short to spit to. If you're a fan you will not be dissapointed. His lyrical pimp hand remains strong throughout the duration of the record. Add it to your collection! PEACE

Not the 2 short album to start with Nov 14, 2006 Suprised with all the positive reviews for this album, since this is one of Too Short's weaker albums. There are a few enjoyable tracks here, but nothing to write home about. "Shorty the Pimp" and "Get in where you fit in" are so much stronger, that this I wouldnt bother with this one.
$hort Dogg bringing more of that Pimp Game! Jan 06, 2006 "You Nasty" is Too Short's 12th album!! And he hasn't gone anywhere. The man's been doing it for about 20 years! Now, that's what I call a true vet!... Not only he's one of the first to put the Bay on the map, but he's also the first one to rap about pimpin', waaaay before all those wanna-be's started acting like they know a thing about it. Too $hort is a true mack, and it just shows. "You Nasty" is perhaps even better that "Can't Stay Away" since "Can Stay..." had a few filler cuts at the end, featuring some of Short Records' new "talents". Now, that doesn't happen on this album, which is short of guests. Only guest appearences are by E-40, Captain Save Em, Chyna and the Nation Riders. Too $heezy doesn't need anyone else. Once again he proves on this album that he trully is one of the greatest rappers EVER. He's got one of the best flows in the rap game, period. The boy's flows are perfect over the beats. In terms of topics, you know what Todd Shaw is all about - Pimpin', being a true playa... the rap game... Too Short's verses are sharp, strong and sometimes funny. On quite a few songs Short spits some cold-a** sh** about the pimp game. Production is perfect, as usual, handled by Quint Black, Jazze Pha, Ant Banks, Erick Sermon, Sonny B and a couple of others. And if the tight mucis on this CD is not enough - check out the BOOKLET! It's one of the nastiest booklets ever made. You get to see quite a few pictures of your boy Short with a couple of gorgeous NAKED ladies. Plenty of A** and ti***es for weeks!! Now , isn't THAT nasty, I'm asking you? Hahaha! Short, you did it again, playa!
