Blast from my Past! Nov 02, 2008 I had this album on tape back in the late 80's and wore it out. I forgot about it until I started hearing Rick on contemporary radio. Then I was like, hey! I want it back! I got it at a great price and it definitely completes my 80's CD collection.
Back to the 80's!! May 22, 2008 I owned this when it first came out on cassette. I had forgotten just how good the entire cd is. The sound is a bit dated- it is the 80's. But Rick's voice and the quality of the writing still holds it's own. This is blue eyed soul at it's best. 10 quality tracks out of ten. Highly recommend.

l've been Rick-rolled!!! May 12, 2008 ''Never Gonna Give You Up'' sucked 2O years ago, and it sucks even more now. And what sucks even more is can't stop listening to it. lt's creeping up like a virus everywhere we go now-a-days. Rick planted this A-bomb 2O years ago and it's exploding now with catastrophical results now.
Never gonna give, never gonna give, give you up.
000000H!!! l'M DYlNG AGAlN!!!

The Stock-Aitken-Waterman hit machine's most vocally gifted alumnus Oct 18, 2007 A smooth pop-soul singer with a deep baritone voice uncommon for a (then)-21 year old white guy from England, Rick Astley burst upon the music scene like fire in the winter of 1987 with the huge hits "Never Gonna Give You Up" and "Together Forever." Both of these are prime examples of the sweet, catchy pop that is the trademark of the Stock-Aitken-Waterman team, along the only slightly less sizable hit "It Would Take A Strong Strong Man". As I mentioned in one of my previous reviews, S-A-W certainly know how to create a hit, but the song is twice as good when you have somebody like Rick Astley to sing it.
Ahhh, the 80's... Jun 27, 2007 So I've been slowly rebuilding my music collection with music I used to listen to as a teen - grew up in the 80's - and I almost totally forgot about Rick Astley! What a great CD! Typical 80's dance music - almost slow techno?!?!? But his voice! Gotta love it! Most of the songs are a little dorky - but still a load of fun to listen to - wish he's put out something new - again, great voice! Love Rick Astley! Dig the CD!
