Not a bad refernce book to have for new moms Nov 12, 2009 Give you some general idea about things your baby needs and things you can do. I wouldn't take every word seriously, as many suggestions in the book differ from my other research and decisions (like when you start solids for a breast fed baby), but it's a good starting point.

New Parent must read. Oct 04, 2009 Overall a sound book with lots of useful information. The only downside is there is no competition for it which means the book may not have any significant changes to future additions.
What to Expect.............. Oct 02, 2009 Excellent resource. Always answers all of my questions and information is organized for easy reference.

The only parenting book I've actually used Oct 01, 2009 I'm a dad and we've purchased various baby/parenting books, but this is by far the best.
Pros:
- the layout is excellent, I can easily find what I'm looking for without having to read through large sections.
- our daughter is 11 months now and the book has covered (with very few exceptions) everything we've had questions on.
Con:
- as any new parent has discovered, parenting is like politics, everyone has their own position. While this book overall does a good job of fairly presenting all positions, there are some areas where the authors' personal opinions slant the presentation. Just something to be aware of.
