WHAT IF IT ALL MEANS SOMETHING Dec 17, 2008 I BOUGHT THIS FOR A CLOSE FRIEND. I SAW AND HEARD HER ON A TV SHOW AND HAD TO HAVE THIS CD.
Great music, sometimes a little light in the lyrics department Apr 06, 2008 This is a glorious album to listen to if you like immaculately produced pop music. Sometimes the words seem a bit trite.
On the other hand, the "bonus track" on the US release, Feels Like Home, is simple, heartfelt, and it's been said a thousand times before, yet in Chantal's hands it becomes almost an anthem. You could even imagine a Mormon Tabernacle Choir of backing vocals on this track, and it wouldn't seem out of place. Such is the power of a good performance to elevate relatively mundane lyrics into music of the soul.
The tracks I will listen to repeatedly are Time, Flying Home, and Feels Like Home. I can appreciate the other songs for their craft, the production, the beautiful sound that they make, but I don't love them like the three I mentioned.
Chantal's best by far Oct 27, 2006 This is Chantal's best studio effort by far.
Filled with excellently-written songs, Chantal's 3rd studio album is by far the most catchy and the one that sticks to your head and makes you want to listen to her again and again.
Her first two singles from this album, 'In This Life' and 'Time' are mellow, gentle yet bearing a strong tune, giving her a sense of identity and shows off her lyric writing skills. 'In This Life' especially sticks to your head.
The rest of the album follows up with more catchy music, with 'Weight of the World' being high energy and bouncy, but stretches her voice a little over the top. 'Julia' and the title track 'What If It All Means Something' are equally catchy and good.
This album is extremely well-produced, and it is wonderful.

The best CD that has made Chantal Jan 30, 2006 It's a very good CD. It's a alternative a to Avril lavigne. It's not a copy. Chantal has his own style before Avril.

Fabulous Album Aug 09, 2005 Chantal Kreviazuk's music finds a way into both your heart and your mind. After hearing her songs in a movie I was bound and determined to own her albums.
