A good buy Nov 10, 2006 As a retired military officer and lifelong student of history, I like this look at these wars - it's useful to ID common themes and also unique aspects of each conflict.

This dvd was very helpful to me Feb 17, 2005 I am familiar with World War II history, the Israeli Arab Wars, and recent American combat, but do not consider myself an expert on any of these areas. I was very pleased with this dvd with all of its detailed information (most particularly with its coverage of El Alamein 1942 which I enjoyed the most due to its interviews of both German and British veterans from the German English desert war itself) on the following battles: Gulf War 1991, Six Day War 1967, and The Battle of El Alamein 1942. For anyone wanting to learn a great deal about some major decisive battles in world history (particularly El Alamein in World War II) I would recommend this dvd heartily. It would work well as a class resource or as a personal primer on these key battles in history.

A line in the desert Apr 30, 2004 For those of you that love history, its a DVD set you must have. The documentaries do not show (or talk about) every event that took place during the wars documented in the DVDs. But it is a good price for the quality, and is yet another interesting perspective from commentators who spoke about the wars in these DVDs.
