Magical Jan 08, 2010 Along with Romance of the Violin, this is the most beautiful collection of violin I have heard. In the car or in the home, just put it in the player and enjoy.

Amazing! May 11, 2009 One of the best CD's that I have ever listened to. Such a great musician!

Wonderful Apr 08, 2009 Joshua Bell is an American violinist, whose love of music was first recognized when, at the age of 4, he started stretching rubber bands from his dresser drawer handles to try to create the music he heard in his home. By age 14 he was soloing with the Philadelphia Orchestra, and his career was well underway.
In this wonderful album, Mr. Bell takes a selection of arias and songs that bring out the voice of the violin (to make its strings sing). The selection of tunes is wonderful, and the artist performs them with great feeling and ability. If you like great music, performed to perfection, then you will like this wonderful violin music. I highly recommend it!

Life with Joshua Dec 27, 2008 Joshua Bell's recording of Voice of the Violin is one of the best purchases I've made recently. I've kept it playing in the background during the Christmas flurry and find it soothes and inspires my soul. I'd recommend it for anyone, even those who don't think they like classical music or the violin.

Sweet melancholy Dec 26, 2008 This album is filled with beautiful music, but if you're looking for the firey, glitzy Joshua Bell you might want to look elsewhere. The music is slow, quiet, and melancholy. If you're a person who "curls up inside" good music, you'll love this album.
