Great, but with a caveat Oct 26, 2008 If you've never seen it, definitely check it out. It has aged surprisingly well and is good for a lot of laughs. But if you are like me, and grew up seeing this (i.e., its severely edited version) on TV once a year or so throughout the 90s, you might be in for a shock. All the jokes are still there, but there is loads of profanity. So much so that you might no longer recognize it as one of your long-lost favorites.
I have no problem with profanity when it is used comedically, or as a characterization device, but it's probably overdone in this movie. Just shows how the MPAA has changed by the decade in its approach to ratings.
Hilarious Classic! Jun 26, 2008 This DVD was hilarious--it you don't mind watching a movie that hasn't been 'digitally re-mastered' and you like comedy's--this is a great flick! It arrived on time and was brand new just at the description listed. Very happy with this purchase.

Disappointed May 12, 2008 We watched this the first time on TV and thought it was so funny...I bought one and was very disappointed because it was filled with bad language......
Good times!! Mar 23, 2008 This is a great movie. I saw it at a drive-in back in 1980, and loved it since!!! Jack Warden puts on a great performance as the Fuchs Brothers!!
Kurt Russell plays the best "con artist" there is, Lenny and Squiggy are electronic geniuses, and all the actors were great!!! And don't forget Toby the cute beagle!!
Funny Feb 10, 2008 This is a funny movie to buy for someone who especially has a car lot, lol. They would get a kick out of it.
