Love this CD Dec 03, 2009 An absolutely powerful performance by Alice in Chains during their 1996 Unplugged session. As always Layne Staley drives the emotion of the band with his unique voice with Jerry Cantrell's optimal lyrics. Have not been able to put this CD down since I ordered it. Will never get tired of this performance. Absolutely a brilliant work by Alice.
CD + DVD = Awesome! Oct 07, 2009 The CD alone is worth the purchase, but the DVD seals the deal. It's nice to see them perform at such a great level. I think "Nutshell" is one of the greatest acoustic performances of all time!
awesome! Sep 21, 2009 I bought this for a friend, but im into AIC. This is a must have for fans get the combo CD/DVD it's only a few more dollars so worth it.
Layne Staley Is Sorely Missed.... Sep 09, 2009 Listening to this Unplugged by Alice In Chains is very haunting. You can hear Layne struggling through some of the songs but this by no means takes away from the band's overall performance. It's just a shame that he didn't live longer so that the listening public could benefit from such a soulful persona.
