 Good rerelease. Nov 25, 2008
Teddy Geiger is a really captivating, interesting, relateable musician who is appealing to young people and older people alike. His first LP, 'Underage Thinking,' was a mid-level success a few years ago, and this rerelease of that album is everything a rerelease should be: it's tacked on the original basement demos of several songs (and, inexplicably, dance remixes of the album's two lead singles), and included a DVD that includes music videos, their makings-of, and various short videos and docu-things that will keep a fan interested many times through. The price is egregious, considering that most of the 'new' material is easily sourced from the Internet, but having it self contained is convenient, and buying the album used justifies that convenience. This is the buffer for his new record, due early in 2009, and it does its job exceptionally well. Alongside his work on the soundtrack for the summer bomb 'The Rocker,' it shows just how creative he's become vocally, and I for one am siked to see where he takes that creativity in his lyrics and music.

I purchaesd Teddy Geiger's CD Look Where We Are Now after I saw his music videos for the songs For You I Will{Confidence} and These Walls on Youtube. I fell in love with him from the start! Who knew that an 18 year old could write such mature lyrics and proform them with such grace! This CD includes all of the original songs from Underage Thinking, but it also includes remixes for These Walls and For You I Will{confidence}, plus a song that Teddy recorded after he did Underage Thinking. The CD also comes with 5 demos that Teddy recorded when he was younger in his basement. All of the songs on this CD are really, really, really, good.
Last but not least, there is a DVD which goes behind the sceans on Teddy's music videos,his video blogs, a photo scrapbook, and a day in the life of Teddy Geiger. I can't wait for his new CD The March, to come out in September!!!!

I'm a big fan of teddy geiger. this item gives you music, old demos, remixes and a dvd. You get a lot for your money. I'm glad I got it. The only thing is, I'm not very into techno so those remixes of songs that have a lot of techno in it, kind of bother me (not all of them, some of them have a cool sound to it, but overall im not such a big fan of techno). The DVD was very entertaining as well.

Teddy Geiger is awesome. He is really awesome. This cd proves it. Hence the title "Look Where We Are Now", this cd showcases all that Teddy has done this year. He has had 2 smash singles and music videos, "For You I Will (Confidence)" and "These Walls" and has gone on a whirlwind tour across the world. He has gone on numerous talk shows, has appeared on the cover of Seventeen Magazine (first guy in 5 years) and has been plastered on walls of 12 year old girls' bedrooms (mine included). Teddy isn't like any other teen pop sensation out there. He is genuine, writes his own stuff, records his own stuff, is a natural looker, and is the most funny, honest, sweet and modest person. I would know because I actually got the chance to meet him this past summer.
"Look Where We Are Now" consists of 20 full tracks, including the full length album "Underage Thinking" (which I also own...fabulous) which is 12 tracks. Then there is the one song that didn't make the cut to "Thinking", "As We Get Older". Two of these 20 songs are remixes of his power singles "For You I Will (Confidence)" and "These Walls". The rest of the songs are demos which all but one he recorded at the age of 15. Made himself, these demos are as Teddy puts it, "messy" and they are really great to listen to before and after you hear the real versions on "Thinking". You get to hear a bit of his speaking voice at the beginning of each demo. He explains how he wrote the song, when, why, etc.
This pack comes with 2 discs. It's not one of those confusing ones where on one side, there is a cd and the other side a dvd. (I own two of those Dualdiscs...Bon Jovi's "Have a Nice Day'' and Bo Bice's "The Real Thing"-VERY confusing, but awesome). No, this pack comes with 2 sepearate discs. The dvd side shows the 2 music videos he has made, a live version of "For You I Will (Confidence)", 2 making-of videos, a photo gallery (so adorable), at least 10 hard-to-resist homemade videos Teddy and the band made while on the road, "A Day in the Life" video...made last year, and just pure fun to go along with each of the videos!!
And you think the CD/DVD PACK is great? Wait till you see the PICTURES on the INSIDE COVER!!! I was very pleased that they didn't put the same booklet they put in for "Underage Thinking". For this pack, they put in different pictures and doodles he draws himself...Mr Soup is my personal favorite...and a huge poster on the back of it when you open up the whole thing. It's gorgeous.
This pack is sure to please any 9-20 year old girl or older. Or just a few guys who are curious to see what the fuss is all about. It has anything and everything for any Ted-Head.
Teddy, we're waiting for you to tour again with your new album coming!!!
