I'm ashamed but... I Love It. Jun 25, 2009 I grew up with Alvin and the Chipmunks and just last week I saw the most recent movie. Although I had to adjust to seeing "real" fur I was impressed with the quality that was evident in the characterizations and the music. I was fascinated by the soundtrack and it's production quality. Then I found that this album was out. I've been listening to it now for a week steady. These are great songs. Of course my brain places Alvin and the gang in the singing parts instead of actually taking the "vocalists" for face value (although you can tell they are great as well). The pop / synth vocal arrangement on undeniable is VERY well done in my opinion.
...Please don't tell my wife.
Chipmunk album Mar 02, 2009 My son loves this cd! And even though those high little voices can be a bit much for us parents, it's tolerable because they are songs we know that are remixed very well.
Xmas gift Jan 21, 2009 This was a Xmas gift to my granddaughter who is 8.
She listens to it frequently and all of her gfriends listen to it too.
Fun Jan 11, 2009 Santa brought this for our 5 year old. He loves it. I even catch myself singing along. I mean, a Bon Jovi song from the Chipmunks - Does it get any better than that?

my kid loves it Dec 30, 2008 i think that the new chipmunks is pretty decent. is it something i really want to listen to day in day out not at all but my three year old and the four little girls i watch love it. which lets face it the target audience has and always will be kids ranging from 3-9. i think its great for em if it makes them happy it makes me happy and after reading the other reviews i just have to wonder when did the fun go out of listening to the chipmunks? its not supposed to be taken seriously. its not the 60's anymore folks and for that fact its not the 80's either i love it i always have loved the chipmunks and i always will its good light hearted fun
Bill Murray is at his wry, wisecracking best in this riotous romantic comedy about a weatherman caught in a personal time warp on the worst day of his life. Teamed with a relentlessly cheerful producer (Andie MacDowell) and a smart-aleck cameraman (C ...
