A bit shallow but very a solid offering from the Coop Dec 15, 2009 "Trash" is not Alice Cooper's best but it's immensely enjoyable nonetheless. A reviewer here has pointed to the fact that Mr. Cooper hangs his head in shame on the cover while delivering unabashed "Trash". I find that pretty funny as it may actually contain quite a bit of truth. Alice Cooper is not a very complicated musician lyrically speaking but his endless diversified quest in finding a right sound has produced some very memorable albums. At this point in his career he was having a tough time getting a hit single so he enlisted a hit maker (Desmond Child) to aid him in that respect. Also here are artists Joan Jett, Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and Steven Tyler, who by the way had all been a bit influenced by the Coop, helping Cooper get to the top of the charts. IT WORKED.
On this album there are at least two classics; "Poison" and "Bed of Nails". Numbers like "Spark in the Dark", "House of Fire", "Only My Heart Talkin'" and the title track go down really well and overall this is a fine Cooper album, although a bit more shallow than usually.
I treasure this album as it helped the Coop get visible again and he needs not hang his head in shame as far as I'm concerned.
WONDERFUL! Jun 02, 2009 I already own this as a cassette but needed to "upgrade" to a CD. LOL!
Having said I already have this in another form and bought again says all...AWESOME! LOVE IT!
Too commercial. Apr 28, 2009 While "Trash" has some excellent songs on it like "Hell Is Living Without You" and "Bed Of Nails", the album seems too commercial and too ballady, esecially since it's the follow up to Cooper's heaviest album "Raise Your Fist And Yell". In my opinion this is the only Alice Cooper album not worth owning.

Alice hangs his head in shame on front cover for delivering TRASH Apr 22, 2009 Are you a fan of the original Alice Cooper Group? Yes? Don't buy this album.
Are you a fan of Alice's first few solo records? Yes? Don't buy this album.
An atrocious attempt to be relevent again. Heavy metal Alice with Rambo on guitar. Poison, indeed.
Trash Aug 29, 2008 I have not listened Alice Cooper very much, but this record I found very interesting, especially "Poison" which theme, I feel, is slightly copied by the Finnish band Lordi in their Eurovison 2006 contest winner song "Hard Rock Hallelujah". As a whole I a agree with Alice Cooper himself, as he writes in his book "Golf Monster", this album to be the one of his bests "yet?". I sincerely recommend this record also to a little bit older enthusiasts.
A Midnight Golfer from Finland:-)
