5A New Direction For SR-71  Aug 27, 2008
SR-71 plunges into a new direction with their second studio release, "Tomorrow", which unlike their first album, "Now You See Inside", is far more rock orientated, and less pop-rock. Truth be told, this is not the best of what SR-71 has to offer, even though it is still a collection of outstanding music.

Some of SR-71's best songs are featured on this album, "She Wad Dead", "Lucky", and "Gone" being three of them, but unfortunately, many of their other best songs were not released outside of Japan ("He We Go Again" album).

The title track from this album was a minor hit for SR-71, but nothing like that of "Right Now" from their first album, and definitely not the best song on this CD. SR-71 was very successful in moving past their pop-rock debut, proving they are able to create exceptional music in more than one subgenre of rock.

4Versatile Band   Jun 15, 2007
The song "Politically Correct" from their first album Now You See Inside got me solidly hooked into this band. It has been a hook that has been for once very rewarding; most bands can only produce one sound that just feels like you are on a production line skinning and gutting Tyson Chickens for minimum wage. Not only that the same illiterate monkey that usually seems to be writing lyrics for other bands apparently has avoided SR-71 since the beginning; they have a message and they deliver it with first class style. It is also a band that you can actually understand the lead singer without the drunken slurring that usually accompanies punk music (i.e. Green Day), pronunciation goes along way.

One thing is certain is that SR-71 is still trying to define which direction they want to go as a band. They still seem to be torn between punk and a much gentler sound that Stabbing Westward obtained in their last album.

"They All Fall Down" is an incredible song with outstanding lyrics and a great blend of wailing guitars and tempo changes. It is a song that truly shows their tremendous skills. "My World" is one of the few songs that also show SR-71's diversity in both the standard instrumentation and the acoustic version of it. It contains all of their key singing subjects, anger, humor, and loneliness all in one song.

Though they have not come out with anything new in terms of a CD lately, it is a band still in its infancy that will only get better and one I highly recommend.

5This one goes in my Hall Of Fame  Feb 17, 2006
Absolutely love everything about this album. There is not one song that I skip when playing through (although I do enjoy some more than others) they are all great songs. This is a lot different from Now You See Inside (which I didn't like all that much) and it's definately more hard rock than their first album as well. This is sort of a Hard Rock/Punk mix and works beautifully. It reminds me a lot of Anberlin - Never Take Friendship Personal (highly recommended if you liked this). The songs are so charged that they make you wanna jump around and scream to the lyrics.
That said, people who I show the album to tend not to like it very much. I have no idea why so you may want to give it a listen before you buy. And don't be scared off by a few of the songs slow intros because every song on here really takes off at one point. Very highly recommended all the same.

4SR71 Talented young musicians  Jun 25, 2005
This is yet another album I purchased just for one song 'Tomorrow', in which I watched the video clip on a music TV station. The song was a beautiful example of talent meeting great music. SR71 is a bunch of 4 men with alot of musical skill. Whilst I wasn't all that impressed with the lyrics that I thought were reprised from other bands out there at the moment. But the music was great, alt rock with a dash of punk.
My favourite three songs on this album were 'Tomorrow', 'My World' and 'Broken Handed'. If you can get the video clip of 'Tomorrow', you won't be disappointed. It is a enjoyable CD and I have become a fan of this young rock band.

5this is where sr-71 becomes punk.  Apr 11, 2005
unlike their freshman debut, which was cluttered with boy-band pop and poor lyrical content, "tomorrow" is a pop-punk masterpiece, with slick production and energetic melodies to boot. its a shame they never got famous, cuz sr-71 is really talented. I'd get this one along with "here we go again", which in my opinion, may be their best work to date.
