The Times They Are a-Changin' Oct 27, 2009 I saw him perform this album, this fall, at Berkeley.
I saw him perform in the autumn of his career.
And I have mumbled to myself since.
Two things get better with time: wine and Bob Dylan.

2009 Bob Dylan record on CD. Oct 23, 2009 Bob Dylan has been around for so long and he still manages to put out interesting music. This record is no exception and might be one of his best. Dylan performs with a full band, and plays plenty of electric guitar as well, on this one.

I Want to Like It, but... Oct 21, 2009 I really want to give this CD more stars, because the songs are great, but I can't give it more than three because of one thing: Dylan's voice (or lack of one). Dylan has never been known for his vocals, of course, but now it's just sad. He sounds like an old man with a terrible sore throat and head cold on most of the tracks. He really has not taken care of his voice, and it's actually painful to hear Dylan trying to hit notes in these songs. I'd like to hear someone else sing these songs, because they really are great songs.
Good Album. Sound's a little like Tom Waits. Sep 29, 2009 I'm a little spoiled after Mr. Dylan's latest roll.
This is not quite as strong as TIME OUT OF MIND, LOVE AND THEFT, MODERN TIMES, And the glorious TELL TALE SIGNS. However, it is still a good album and and interesting twist to his current sound. Alot of time on this recording it parallels Tom Waits.
Unlike "Modern Times" (Where I loved it from the first spin) This album takes a little time to grow on you. It's not a classic, but it is a really good listen.
pleasing sound Sep 24, 2009 Dylan is no stranger to differend sounds. While not like past CDs this one is well worth the wait.
