Surprisingly pretty good Feb 14, 2009 The first time I heard the CD, I couldn't really get past some of the cursing. But when I actually took time to listen to the entire CD, I actually liked it. It's one of my CDs that I listen to the most.
Sugarpop Hip-Hop Jan 24, 2009 We all know that T-Pain makes music primarily enjoyed in the nightclubs or the t*tty bars, and most musical artists would shiver at the thought of him being grouped along the R&B greats of the past, however Pain has been able to create a certain substance in his style that most of today's flash-in-pan, auto-tune using R&B/Hip-Hop artists lack. The production quality on this album is out of this world, all the collaborations are top notch and Pain has continued to push the limits on his own craft. This isn't one of those albums with two hot songs and 16 fillers. Every track is worth listening to, if not putting on repeat a few times. I'm almost exclusively a Hip-Hop listener, however TP has put something in this album to appeal that really appeals to me. I recommend this to anyone who likes to dance, laugh, sing and generally have a good time with their music.
T-Pain Tones Down The Synth Making Live Concerts Better Dec 30, 2008 I loved T-Pains other albums but this one only has a hand full of good songs. The comedy was funny the first time through but I'm getting tired of CDs without music. I'd say 4 decent songs and he even says hes aiming for 11 number 1s this year on one of the tracks. I dont see those coming from this album...
Something I do appreciate about this album is that T-Pain tries to sing and rap a bit more with out all the studio work. Don't get me wrong, I hate synthasized voices as much at the next guy, but a singer's voice is their instrument. If there can be electric guitar then there can be electric voices. In T-Pains defense, it sounds like the program he uses for pitch correction got better or he dropped some Gs on voice lessons.
T-Pain CD - NO PAIN CAUSED HERE!!! Dec 29, 2008 It was ridiculously AWESOME! This is one of those CD's that you don't even have to skip thru tracks (well, maybe just the 'skits') but SONG wise, this is a GREAT CD!
Great Dec 26, 2008 Album was GREAT, and I even got it 1 day b4 the official release I'm very impressed :D
