Backstreet's back for sure - this CD is awesome! I loved every song. Always loved them, always will!

I have all of their albums and this is by far the best. This album was so well done that i really dont have a favorite because their all great songs. You get an r&b sound for both ballads and up tempo's. It's really good the way they mixed it up. Normally BSB are known for their pop ballads but this album will blow your mind.

The song styling of this album is more up-tempo and is a great mix of what's popular on the air waves right now and that uniquely smooth, vibrant Backstreet Boys sound that makes this album a real treat.
The following are my personal favorites:
Masquerade is simply fascinating and with a slick sound that is mesmerizing. The lyrics and vocal harmonies of Shattered and Undone are heartfelt, mature, and gorgeous. Straight Through My Heart, Bigger, and This Is Us all have a really catchy, upbeat, addictive sound that you ~WILL~ find yourself singing along to, just like I found myself doing.
This Is Us is among my best music purchases this year.^^

I've been a fan of the Backstreet Boys for 9 years now, and I'm going to be honest here, their new CD "This is Us" honestly is not one of my favorites by them. The only song that really stands out to me is "Bigger", and I cannot get enough of that song! However, I can appreciate the fact that the Boys are extremely proud of this album, for me, the music is just not my personal style. But I'm willing to give this album a 2nd, 3rd, 4th chance to grow on me. I know that they can't make an album that's going to appeal to EVERYONE. However, I still like "This is Us" it because it IS the Backstreet Boys.
amazing vocals by great artists Nov 04, 2009
needless to say more.. BSB have shown that no matter what the media say about them they're amazing vocalists and performers on everything they do. This is a clear example of that, even if this album is a lot different than what we're used to hearing from them once again you can enjoy the harmony of their voices in more upbeat songs. still maintaining their quality.
