Amazing Insight to the World of Globalization Nov 15, 2009 Amazing book with great information and fun facts. Will really open your mind to the world going on around you that most people probably haven't realized. Recommend for all.
A must read for al americans Nov 13, 2009 It is really a short history of XXI century. Read it and prepare for the changes, as they are unavoidable. Especially valuable for americans - Friedman gives right insights, how USA should remain a leader and not give the way to "hungry" Indians, Chinese and East Europeans.
OK, I guess, if you like these sorts of books..... Nov 08, 2009 ....but I find books like this (about business and businesses) boring as all hell. This is only my opinion, mind you - I suppose if you like these kinds of books it might be utterly fascinating. But if you don't like these kinds of books then don't even pick this up. It'll put you to sleep in five minutes.
product was in excellent condition Nov 03, 2009 very happy with the product and the sellers product was in mint condition arrived on time also.
Structuring a chaotical change we go through these years Oct 31, 2009 If you have heared terms like outsourcing, Internet Technology, SOA, Workflows, Business Processes, web servers, collaboration platforms, etc. and you were not sure what does it mean and how does it relates to you or your work, this is the book to read. The biggest value of this book is that it gives an overview of changes in technology and globalization that happened in the last 15-20 years on a high level. This makes it possible for a non-geak to get a better understanding of all the recent tech buzzwords and to evaluate potential impact on his own business (but also private) field. Considering the fact that we are all impacted by the changes described in this book and we all live in these revolutionary times, I believe the potential audience for Friedmans book is simply everyone.
