Very comprehensive. Covers every aspect that you need to consider when going to Disney. Covers all of the major attractions/hotels/resorts in the Orlando area. Buy the book early and plan your vacation to Disney at least 6 months out! We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation, we weren't sitting up each night planning the next day.

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World is simply the best reference book to Disney World. The guide simplifies the mind-bogglingly complex task of planning and experiencing a trip to Disney while entertaining readers with its wry wit.
The one and only problem with the guide is that its increasing bulk made it nearly impossible to actually carry it around the Disney Parks with you. I decided that I would buy a Kindle as soon as the Unofficial Guide was available in a kindle edition, and now I have.
Wonderful book, now convenient to have with you in the park.

This is the most helpful book I've found for planning a trip to Disney World. Birnbaum's official guide is nicely done, but it is not as thorough; and the unofficial guide is unbiased. We've purchased the unofficial guide every year we've gone to Disney World and we've never been disappointed. I highly recommend this guide over the other books out there.

If you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World this is the book for you. It has all the important information that you need for planning a trip of a lifetime. If you want to stay at a Disney Resort, Make reservations for dining or what rides are most popular, this book has it all.
Excellent Guide for the Vacation Researcher in the Family Oct 12, 2009
We love this book and have used different versions of it over the years. It is detailed and useful and could be overwhelming to some. We have the Birnbaum's book also, which is gorgeous but not useful to us. Birnbaum is more of a gift book--pretty, but not for people who care about time or money constraints. The Unofficial Guide is packed and will keep vacation planners busy for a few months ahead of time. Some of the rides and scarier attractions you just have to rate knowing your own child, not reading a book about the attraction. We used a babysitting service listed in the book and were pleased with that, which can be a major consideration for parents wanting a night out to themselves.
