Simple, understandable and it works Nov 10, 2009 Can across an audio program with Dr. Hyman and bought it. It made sense to me so I bought the book. It worked for me and I've kept 25 pounds off for over a year, so I'm a believer! The book could have been a little shorter as they put in checklists for each day (so you have 7 instead of 1 to follow) but that's a minor point.
I've lost count of the number of people to whom I've recommended this book.

A diet that really works Sep 26, 2009 The UltraSimple Diet has worked for me. I've only been on it for six days and have lost 6 pounds without feeling hungry.

book is a repeat of other information Sep 06, 2009 This book offers no new information for those who have purchased "Ultrametabolism "by the same author.
great Aug 26, 2009 I love this book, as well as Dr. Hyman's other books. I did not need or want to lose weight, I bought this book as a detox guide, as well as to find out if I have any food allergies. I did end up losing a few pounds without trying to. This is a great way to start Dr. Hyman's UltraMetabolism plan, which is a whole foods lifelong way of eating more healthfully, not a diet. But if you want to lose weight it is an easy way of doing so, and you will not be hungry! There is one caveat to this "diet": it is only a 7-day diet, however there is one week of preparation where you eliminate sugar, caffeine, flour, hydrogenated fats and alcohol. Dr. Hyman also strongly suggests slowly re-introducing foods after the 7-day detox, which takes several more weeks. After the 7 days though, you will probably feel so good that you will want to continue with his plan.
