Finally. Nov 16, 2009 I literally soaked up this book as if I were a desert seed that hadn't seen water in millions of years. And the blooming is only beginning.
Suddenly, as the seed began to expand, everything made sense: all those years of kneeling and repeating prayers I didn't really understand but loved.
Whatever Jesus was pointing to way back then seems to be particularly poignant and pertinent right now, which is why I trust Deepak's timing in writing
and my timing in reading this book. I also trust that the same will be the case for many, many more people hungering, literally and figuratively, in the world we live in today.
A Must Read Oct 28, 2009 I really enjoyed this book as it explains Jesus as an Enlightened Master rather than the Saviour of the World; Deepak Chopra was able to explain what he thinks different sayings of Jesus that are in the Bible actually mean, the hidden meaning rather than a literal meaning. It's truly a book everyone should read with an open mind. I've been out of the box as far as religious beliefs are concerned for quite a while now and this book confirms my thoughts that life is about spirituality not what religion you belong to or what church you attend.

Uninspiring Oct 12, 2009 How can I say this? Deepak's words are flat, as if he doesn't know first hand what in the world he is talking about, and emotionally doesn't even really care. Others have done better. Nothing new here and quite superficial. Pop spirituality at its best. This seems like just another book to Deepak.
Therefore, the book was a very boring and uninspiring, and a waste of my time.

Another one in the churn of Chopra books. Aug 23, 2009 Chopra continues to churn out books like bananas off of a tree. Here is yet another one where he only puts his own spin on an old subject. I would like to ask Deepak why it costs $3,000 to $4,000 to attend one of his seminars. Is enlightenment only available to the rich and famous?

Finally, Someone GETS IT!!!! Jul 31, 2009 For years I attended a Christian Church, bothered by what was being said about Jesus. Reading Jesus' words in the Bible, I did not feel that the church was presenting what he was trying to convey to the world. While reading this book, The Third Jesus, I found myself saying "YES!!" This is what I feel was Jesus' message.
Not for the brain-washed (dogma indoctrinated) Christian, but for those still seeking for the REAL truth.
Thank you, Deepak Chopra, for validation of my thoughts.
