I gave it 3 stars for the 3 guitar players that I enjoyed.I feel that it was not balanced out with everyone that was on this DVD.

Ignore anything you have read about the standard DVD, The Blu-ray edition is superb. 1.78:1 widescreen using the MPEG-4 AVC is nearly perfect. DTS-HD Master Audio lossless track can not be beat. Not one bad performance.

A great dvd. You can watch and listen to it over and over. I would recommend it to everyone that love music and the sound of a guitar.

When my brother sent me this DVD, I was really excited about getting the player open and putting this in and watching it. Boy, was I surprised.
I wasn't so disappointed in the performances, I am like California Man, and was hoping to see Strat people! Not Amy freakin' Whinehouse, hearing Rod Stewart music and listening to an audience sing to BOTH of Paul Roger's signature songs.
I have to wonder if the Producers and the Staff are even old enough to be putting together a show of this caliber. Right or wrong, the people there are NOT the quint essential musicians representatives of the greatness and the beauty of the Fender guitars.
I won't go on and on about how much I don't like the DVD...we're all grown people and when there's a cast like THIS, for the 50th celebration of a musical instrument like the Strat, we can all assume that someone made a LOT of money somewhere.
The whole concert was done very substandard and hardly ANYONE got introduced....very unprofessional.
I must say that if that production company needs a good graphix artist, I can be bought....just fly me to LA.

So many great Strat players in this concert. David Gilmour shines and amazes the crowd with this God Like playing.
