As described Oct 20, 2009 Fine DVD, fast delivery. We enjoyed the film, great music both by Teddy Geiger and "Vesuvius."
Teddy IS the Rocker! Sep 15, 2009 Took my grandkids to see this movie because of Teddy Geiger's appearance in it. It was a really fun movie. We've met Teddy and his family in Rochester, NY and my grand-daughter has been to his concerts in PA, OH and everywhere he performs in NY. We love his music and miss his concert tours.

Great Soundtrack! Jul 05, 2009 I was very happy to be able to buy the The Rocker Soundtrack, considering a friend of mine said that the songs were only written for the movie. He was suggesting that Teddy Geiger was a not a real artist and there wouldn't be a soundtrack for the movie. I was glad to find out that wasn't true.
This is a great soundtrack for a great movie. I originally went to see it because I'm a fan of Rainn Wilson from "The Office" who stars as the main character Robert "Fish" Fishman, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out how much I enjoyed the music throughout the movie. I am particularly "picky" about music, but I enjoyed all of the songs written by Teddy Geiger. The music made the movie more enjoyable and I would recommend this soundtrack to anyone thinking about buying it.
Teddy Geiger has a hot voice May 21, 2009 I'm probably too old to be saying that but it's true. This CD is good even if you haven't seen the movie, which you should because it's hilarious. Teddy's voice is truly great and the songs are very well written. I find myself singing "Bitter" in my head way more than is necessary :)

Teddy Geiger's Lost Sophomore, or The Rocker's Soundtrack Surprisingly Rocks Mar 26, 2009 Prediction: In 10-20 years "The Rocker" and it's soundtrack will be considered cult classics.
I personally loved the film, and thought that the music in it was one of the anchors for its quality, and in fact, they work perfectly in the movie. Of course, by themselves, some of it's shine wears off, but by themselves, they're a collection of great pop/rock songs, that are simple, but catchy, sunny and fun.
Highlights Include:
"Tommarow Never Comes"
"Bitter"
"Great Escape"
"Coming Through In Stereo"
"Nothin' But A Good Time"
"Promised Land"
"The Rocker Score Suite"
Considering Geiger probably wrote most of the songs himself, with not a ton of time or effort put into them, it's pretty good, and especially good for a soundtrack. Sure, they're not groundbreaking, and Geiger's work is perfect for the Radio Disney crowd, and the Vesuvius work is like a tribute to every bad hair band from the 80s, and is like a AC/DC B-side.
Composer Chad Fischer's upbeat and guitar-centered score is condensed to a suite, but it's a very well-done suite at that, with some great music in there.
Overall, for a highly underrated film, a highly underrated soundtrack, and if you loved the film, I highly recommend you pick up this work as well, or even if you're a Teddy Geiger fan, it's a very well-done soundtrack considering what they probably had to work with.
