excellent Nov 07, 2009 If you love smooth jazz this is for you & for the Vanessa Williams fans. This album is calm very good relaxing sound. This album is good to listen to if you had a rough day, evening or night. Highly recommend. <(^v^)>
I was hooked Oct 23, 2009 I was hooked with the remake of Sergio Mendes' The Real Thing; Stevie Wonder wrote this song for him. Lani Hall was the vocalist for Sergio - her voice is so right.
Vanessa did a wonderful job with her rendition.
Class Personified Oct 20, 2009 Vanessa is definately a go getter, ever present and doing her thing her way. She is always glamourous with a smooth, sentual vocal style that is not compeating with anyone just delivering messages from the heart. Like the track "Just Friends", when you listen to the lyrics you can understand and relate to those types of real life scenarios. She is the most accomplished MISS AMERICA to date and she has carried that title very well with style and grace, despite the controversy she made history and is still making moves creating a legacy on the screen and in the music scene. Let's Give It Up for the DIVA.
You Will Love This CD! Oct 14, 2009 Vanessa Williams did it again! She never puts out a bad CD and makes great song choices and what a voice she has! I highly recommend this CD.....you definitely can't go wrong with this one!

Refreshing! Sep 29, 2009 In the liner notes, Vanessa says it took her two years to complete this project. Well, it certainly was time well spent. A good selection of songs and arrangements that excellently fit Vanessa's voice. You'll find a little bit of Latin, a little bit of big band, and a lot of coooool in this set that shows off Vanessa's maturity and growth as an artist. The duet, October Sky, with Javier Colon is one of my favorites, along with Breathless, The Real Thing, Just Friends and her remake of the Bill Withers classic, Hello Like Before. She's come a long way from her The Right Stuff days and while this one likely won't take home any Grammys, it's absolutely refreshing lyrically, musically, and stylistically.
