A Profound & Life-altering journey...if you dare Sep 27, 2009 This book was suggested to me and as soon as I began reading, I could tell it was something special, more than words can describe. Many other reviewers have shared the nuts and bolts of the contents. What I can share is that it has transformed the way I live my life. I have tools and skills to respond to what happens in life instead of reacting out old dramas. I feel empowered, calm, peaceful, and able to participate in life in a whole new way. It is work, this Presence Process. Its an inside job from head to toe. But if you are sick and tired of the way things are, this may be the book for you. If you are ready to look at your life and be willing to do the work, the rewards will be realized. It's that good.

already been done Sep 23, 2009 I believe this book covers themes that have already been done, and done better, in other books.
It read like a book report. Save yourself the money.

Couldn't get into it Sep 18, 2009 This was recommended by a friend who said it was a slow read but if a book doesn't grab me in the first paragraph, it's all over for me. Maybe I've just read too many of these kind of books over the years.
Highly recommended! Sep 03, 2009 The Presence Process is a remarkably simple, gentle, and complete explanation and process for relief of emotional blockages that impede our ability to become fully present. I have bought several copies of this book myself to give to friends and family and recommended it to many others.
The "How to" Book to meet Your Self here now Aug 13, 2009 This book filled in for me so many gaps that were left by the Power of Now and all the other "Be Here Now" books that are currently being devoured by us folks seeking conscious awareness/enlightenment/joy of the moment/healing/self realization...
Michael Brown is skillful and masterful in the conceptual and informational parts but then always brings things back to the body and the practice of breathing. Breath and Presence as the tool to gain present moment awareness without the rigor and demands of yoga, spiritual exercises and rituals, or metaphysical bonanza.
Easy and gentle, yet powerful and effective in its radical simplicity: It's been my recommendation lately for all my patients and clients seeking healing, personal growth and spiritual upliftment.
It can be used as a "just read book" - or as a 10-week practice manual - either way one will be changed by it for the better.
