 Praise Jesus for this album...... Jan 11, 2010
I happened upon the 10th Annual BET Gospelfest last night. It was awesome! There was a portion of the music festival where an elderly gentleman came up to sing lead with his group...The Rance Allen Group.....I said to my fiancee, "This old man is gonna sing the Kirk Franklin classic...huh???" Little did I know that THIS was his song, "Something About the Name Jesus" in which he was featured on the Nu Nation Project. I always thought the singer was a "Family" member......
This is my favorite gospel song. Mr. Allen tore it up, too with the exact inflections he used on the CD!!!!!! Just awesome!!!!!
I have owned this CD since it was released. In fact, we played it during the 08 election as folks were coming to the polls in our district and I can tell you......I knew Obama was a winner....just in the way that the voters were responding to the music.....
Kirk Franklin set the mood JUST RIGHT!!!
Folks need to stop hatin on this brutha. His anointing was ordained by the MOST HIGH!!! Ya'll better recognize!!!

 Disappointed and waste of money Jul 12, 2008
Praise 103.9 FM in Philly plays this version of Love Remix in their rotation. After much research for the song I purchased this cd for this one song, "Love Remix", but there was only about 40 seconds of the song on the cd. I was totally disappointed, but didn't want to go through the hassel of returning. Does anyone know where I can find this version of the song?

Great CD !!! I bought this CD for the song "Something About the Name of Jesus". It is a very uplifting song. I hadn't heard of this song until recently and was hoping the CD would still be available. A friend of mine ordered it online at another website and then received a notice that it was out of stock. This was about a month ago and she still hasn't received it. I got mine in a few days and am very pleased. Of course I told her she should have ordered from Amazon.com !! I downloaded it onto my IPOD and listen to it often. Like most CD's there are a couple of songs that I don't care for so I didn't put them on my IPOD.

Kirk Franklin was definitely ahead of his time. He is an awesome writer and arranger. The message of Jesus still rings true in each presentation. This project is a classic.

The CD, while being typical Kirk Franklin (great), was a little disappointing. The song called "Stomp" on the CD is not the "Stomp" from the radio that is so popular. The way its titled on the CD is confusing. That was the song I was looking for, and unfortunately the only song I knew on the CD. So now I have a CD that I didn't want and I have to buy the CD with the correct song. Money wasted - Bummer man!
