Exit "The Secret", Enter "The Moses Code" Nov 14, 2009 This book, in my opinion far surpasses Rhonda Byrne's The Secret. I really enjoyed The Secret but I LOVE this book. James Twyman has a great sense for writing and knows how to keep me interested. I've read this book several times, watched the video, and even listened to the music score. I only compare it to The Secret because they both approach the Law of Attraction as a mystic secret hidden for ages; but with Twyman, he reverts back thousands of years, drawing from the Bible, to the story of Moses, so I'm immediately interested in the book. There are very few authors that I follow , but I will read everything Twyman releases. Am I a fan of Twyman? After reading the Moses Code, I can honestly say "I Am that I Am" :)

The Moses Code (Book) Oct 18, 2009
The book is fine, but the sub-title makes a very tall claim 'The Most Powerful Manifestation Tool in the History of the World'. The more appropriate claim would be 'One of the most Powerful Manifestation Tools in the History of the World'. It is understandable that the author is proud of his religion and the Moses Code, but it is very telling that he has not studied or accepted other religions and 'codes'. If he cannot accept the validity of other religions/schools of thought, it contradicts the message of 'accepting without the ego blocking' presented especially in the DVD 'The Moses Code'. Of course, it was one of the other presenters in the DVD that mentioned the ego block. I hope the author understands the problem of the ego-block.
Better than the DVD, but still bad Sep 09, 2009 Its interesting to me that most of the negative reviews are from people who don't like the concept of the law of attraction. I don't care if you like the law of attraction.Your hatred of metaphysics and love for scientific materialism or organized religion is of no importance to me. I want to know if the technique in this book works or not.
I am a concious, active user of the law of attraction. My interest is in what works versus that which does not.
The formula in this book is that when we identify with God which is everything, we then become one with our desire and it shows up in our lives. His formula is "I am that! I am". Beathing out while saying I am that! and focusing on a visualization or written statement of one's desire and at the same time feeling your desire as in your life now. Then one inhales and say "I am". You do this repeatedly until you delevlop a mild rythmic trance until you feel a sense of completion.
Essentially the technique is a visualization combined with a mantra, breath and feeling your desire as real.
Of course the book is devoted to the idea that IAM THAT IAM is a magical open sesame kind of phrase that holds secret powers.
For me the results have been mixed so far. No huge successes yet.
The book itself is filled with contradictions. We are told we have the power to manifest anything we want and then we are told we are wrong to do so. That we are here for spiritual service and to use our powers for cloudy intangibles like world peace, harmony, blah blah. The second half of the book is absolutely pointless and best not read. There is a strong religious yet pious new agey feel about it.
When the new age gurus stop accepting money for their books, cds seminars then I will focus on world peace. If wealth, health, pleasure and luxury is good for them, then it is good for you and me.
Anyway the technique is worth giving a try. But stay away from the movie. It is so filled hypocrisy, self righteousness that it left me incredibly angry for the loss of time spent in watching it.Unless you like being talked down to by new age hucksters who would deny you the life they themselves pursue with shameless abandon, avoid the dvd. Buy the book used, or borrow it from a friend, or better yet just use the formula I revealed in this review. See if it works for you.
Moses Code Aug 24, 2009 Excellent road map for great living. I have bought several copies to pass on to friends.
Religious Take On The Secret Aug 23, 2009 This book was recommended to me and I am glad that I read it. However, as I am more spiritual than religious, the bible references were a bit uncomfortable. For those more comfortable with the bible references, I think you will really enjoy this book. It definitely expanded my view.
