Nice job, Roseanne! Nov 22, 2009 This is a good album, especially for lovers of Johnny Cash! But Roseanne has a fine voice that's easy to listen to.
Suprised I liked it as much as I did. Nov 22, 2009 Pleasantly surprised because I didn't expect to enjoy the material so much.
I've found myself playing it over and over.
The List - Wonderful! Nov 22, 2009 This is the first cd by Rosanne Cash that I get and it makes me regret I haven't started listening to her before!
My favourite is Long Black Veil (#8).
It's a pity there are no texts for the songs :(
BEST COUNTRY ALBUM SINCE "THE KEY" Nov 19, 2009 The tunes in "The List" are well selected and brilliantly done. Rosanne displays here an ability to convey more than simply words of a song. On "The List" she sings with her heart. From the haunting "Take These Chains" and "I'm Movin' On" to her surprisingly delicate treatments of "Girl From The North Country" and "Long Black Veil", listen, appreciate and enjoy.
