The best vocal group on the planet Jan 02, 2008 Click here for Take 6's newest album.Feels Good The Greatest Hits is fantastic! You will never be bored listening to Take 6 and you will always be inspired. They are so jazzy and spirit filled that you can't help but smile when listening to this album. Their harmonies are so tight and they sound so good together. This group thinks outside the box and they will knock you out of your blue funk and have you singing along with them and praising God. I also highly recommend their newest album, "Feels Good". This newest album is the best yet and it is sure to make you feel good when you listen to it. It will put you in the best mood. I play it in my car all the time. I am planning on purchasing more Take 6 cd's very soon. I am totally in love with this group. There's nothing else out there like them. They all are capable of playing musical instruments, They are all college graduates, and they can beat box quite well too. If you like vocal jazz and six part harmonies, and variety and inspiration, then you will just love this group. I know I do. I even have a song on my anwering machine at home. If you still have douts, Go on the You Tube website and type in Take 6 music and watch some live performances on your computer. Then I am sure that you will be convinced. from Merry Joy Hayes

The Best Stuff Jun 23, 2005 Since seeing these guys perform live at the then 'North Sea - Jazz Festival' in Cape Town 2002 I became an instant fan. This album is reminiscent of that great day. The whole album is an enjoyable experience and 'hats-off' to the group for its talent, unity and deliverance. The tracks that stand out for me are 'Destiny','Mary' , 'Spread Love', 'So Much to Say','U-Turn'and 'Biggest Part of Me'- Tebza (Cape Town - South Africa)

A Must Have Aug 30, 2003 I have been a fan of Take 6 since their debut album. Although they have added instruments to some of their songs, they are still one of the best acapella groups today. I love singing along with "Fly Away" and "Best Stuff In the World Today Cafe." I wish music critics would give them more credit for their wonderful talent and focus on that instead of the fact that this is "gospel" music. What is gospel but "music for the soul?"

A unique and refreshing sound collected Nov 15, 2002 It is unfortunate when so many artists of questionable talent are pushed into the consumer's consciousness, while those with true talent and spirit are relegated to the corner. But then again, maybe it's for the best that Take 6 has flown on the edge of the radar - this way we have their pure and soaring talent to enjoy ourselves. Blending Gospel and Jazz with a dose of Bobbie McFerrin, the group has put out consistently good albums. And here is some of the cream of them. Their range is shown from the pop "Biggest Part of Me" to the soulful sounds of "I L-O-V-E U" and the soaring gospel heights of "Mary" and "Destiny." Their music reaches out to wrap itself around you, caressing you with harmonies. It's a shame more people do not know them, but hopefully such a wonderful sampler of their work may introduce them to a new fan or two.
