The Feelings Book - part of the American Girl Collection Jun 27, 2009 This book arrived with a small tear on the front cover and a little worn and was rated very good condition. So I expected just a little better. I expected it to be a little worn because it was used but with no tears.
Just what young girls need! Apr 23, 2009 I got this book for my 4th grader for Hannukah. While I know that reading is not her favorite thing to do, I was hoping she would pick up this book in a time of need. Sure enough, a few months later when some drama unfolded with her friends at school, she picked up the book! She actually followed the advice the book gave her and everything worked out perfectly. Now she reads the book over & over every night!
I highly recommend this book to all young girls who are experiencing the 'girl drama'.
The Feelings Book Apr 16, 2009 I think this book will be good for my 10 year old daughter. I think it will be a good reference for her to have. The books talks about all different kinds of emotions and how to handle them. It encourages girls to talk to other adults they trust with their issues and to not hold things in.

Just What the Doctor Ordered Mar 07, 2009 I am not a "touchy-feely" person. When my nine-year-old daughter had some
anger issues, I left this book on her bed. She took it to school, and several other mothers asked where I had gotten it. Along with a book on
puberty, these two volumes seem to cover what she needs in a sensitive and
private way. American Girl seems to have a finger on the pulsebeat of
today's young women.
Good Stuff Sep 19, 2008 I bought this book for my 11 year old granddaughter who found herself "crying for no reason". She was delighted to find out that she was "normal" and that there were may other people who were like her. This book is easy to read and clearly presented.
