"The Feeling Good Handbook" Oct 28, 2009 This doctor has written an excellent book that is extremely helpful to any person that has issues with depression. It is written in easy to understand layman's terms and gives a lot of ideas to learn and be able to use whenever you need them. It was highly recommended to me and now I, too, highly recommend it to others. Thank you. Judy

A great tool Oct 24, 2009 This must be the 6th copy that I've sent to friends and family after hearing that they might benefit from "Cognitive Therapy". It is like a repair manual for folks who are stuck feeling poorly about themselves and how they interact. It can cure misery.

Very good condition for a used book Aug 31, 2009 I received the book faster then I expected. The book itself was in great condition. This is my third book from Amazon and I can not think of anything negitive to say.

recommended by my therapist Jun 22, 2009 I bought this workbook because my therapist asked me to get it to help with our sessions. So far, it's been helpful. I would suggest writing your answers in a separate notebook, though. You wouldn't want others to read your inner most thoughts.

For those open minded to change May 22, 2009 When I was 17, I was severely depressed & didn't have an open mind to what this book had to say. I picked the book up as instructed by a therapist. I only got 30 pages in & put it down.
Now, 17 years later, I'm glad I never got rid of this book. I almost want to go back in time & smack it over the head of my 17 year old self for not finishing it. But I was a different person back then. This book is extremely helpful if you have the open mind to let it be & see what the author has to say.
Twisted/negative thoughts lead to negative emotions/feelings. It's that simple. No prescription needed (I've tried that before, too).
