Great debut for Columbia Jan 07, 2009 Great album, very upbeat. Johnny Cash is supposed to have kept his best songs for his first recording with Columbia Records. By hearing all the great tunes here, it is easy to believe so.
Cash,The Debut On Columbia.. Jun 09, 2008 Recorded in 1958,Released 1959,this would be the first Johnny Cash record for Columbia ,it's also one of his best. I bet Sam Phillips regretted the day Johnny Cash departed Sun records,- due to creative discrepancies, the maverick singer wanted more song selection freedom, - recording more gospel material as you'll hear on this recording titled "That's Enough". "The Fabulous Johnny Cash" is a milestone debut for the man in black, this is Cash at his very best, featuring the classic songs,"Run Softly Blue River","Frankie's Man Johnny","One More Ride","That's All Over","Troubadour",Johnny's originals,"I Still Miss Someone", "Dont Take Your Guns To Town". My favorite all-time Johnny Cash recording,it's essential,it's here at a cheap reasonable price. From the writer of "I Walk The Line" and "Folsom Prison Blues", would also recommend the American recordings,Cash.
