Ciara Makes The Competition Sweat! Oct 01, 2009 This is the Hong Kong Double Disc of "Ciara: The Evolution" and features 2 bonus tracks, and a DVD viewable in US players. The music has topics that range from love and romance to strength despite adversity as well as fast up-tempo dance tracks. The beats are high energy, the R&B brings hip-hop + rap, and the overall vibe is positive for sure!
The 2 Bonus Tracks are extraordinary! The first bonus track, "Promise (Go And Get Your Tickets Mix)" features R. Kelly. The duets of both singing back and forth definitely create a romance in high gear! The additional vocals by R. Kelly add a different spin! His thuggish yet sweet and sexy tones combined with Ciara's are sizzling hot! The second bonus track titled, "Addicted" is sticky, infectious, ghetto friendly, and catchy in its hooks. The beats are fast, the music is diverse, and the energy is non-stop funk! It's about going crazy for someone so bad it takes control of your thoughts. There are nice rap portions bouncy in style with much R&B, dance beats. The 2 bonus tracks are off the charts, fabulous!!!
The DVD has the dance instruction as well as the video for 2 of her songs: "Get Up" and "Promise". There is a behind-the-scenes footage of Ciara as well as a glimpse of her personal style definitely pleasing!
From the smashing track, "Get Up" Featuring Chamillionaire to the hip-hop "Can't Leave 'Em Alone Featuring 50 Cent" to the dance swaggering funk track "Bang It Up", Ciara proves she can handle the competition and leave them sweating. Every single song in this album is excellent making it zero fillers and no boring sad tunes to feel gloomy, down, or in a low mood. This is about having fun, enjoying, and being much more in tuned with certain issues that range from loving yourself in songs like "Get In, Fit In", "C.R.U.S.H." making the magic of desiring someone quite fun, and the life-lesson, "I Found Myself" and "I'm Just Me". The song-writing is excellent, the mix of entertainment, dance, and messages are phenomenal.
Every song is sensational and there were no slow songs breaking the hype of super accelerated energy bass-lines that just pounded, thumped, and got busy. The interludes were also quite extraordinary describing the evolution of music, dance, fashion, and her. This is a much grand accomplishment definitely R&B sensational giving up-tempo styles a much grand *spotlight* thus giving happy moods, uplifting vibes, and party ambiance all the way through!
*The other release The Evolution is also excellent with the DVD also viewable in the US and includes the lyrics + another bonus track. However, the R. Kelly song is not on it.
