 Smooth, smooth music Aug 12, 2009
Babyface has got some serious skills. He can write some catchy pop tunes, while also excelling at writing some of the smoothest ballads I've ever heard. This album "The Day" is one of my favorite R&B albums ever. It's got a cool mix of romance, nostalgia, fun, fatherhood, and seriousness (his duet with Stevie Wonder is a powerful message of the damaging effects of domestic abuse). The production quality is phenomenal and of course Babyface's writing and performance are at their best.
I highly recommend this album to anyone looking for top-quality R&B. Love it!

What can I say? Cool enough to buy and listen if you are fans of 90's pop, especially R&B.

this is one of my favorite albums of all time. every song on this album is absolutely beautiful, whether he's singing with Stevie Wonder or by himself all the music wonderful and the words very meaningful.

ONE OF THE BEST CDs I HAVE HEARD Mar 16, 2006
While I have never been a great fan of Baby Face when I heard this particular CD I had to have it. I shall be looking for other CDs by this artist. The CD is one of my favorites.
