Wear the songs out...... Dec 16, 2008 This box set will make you appreciate Buck as an artist. There was more to him than a weekly tv show. The box set introduced me to great songs such as Tender Lovin' Care and Big in Vegas. You will not be disappointed with this box set. Buy it and you will wear the songs out.

A Box for your Buck Nov 22, 2008 I agree with another reviewer that "almost" every hit is on here. I wish that would have included all the duet singles with Susan Raye (they did a cute version of "Looking Back To See" and "Love Is Strange"... but this as close as you can get to a nearly complete anthology of Buck Owens for a 3 disc box set. If you need to complete your collection of Buck Hits, may I recommend The Very Best Of Buck Owens Volumes 1 & 2 on Rhino.

They're playing country music. Oct 06, 2007 This is a three disc collection of Buck Owens' best material. It features nearly all of Buck's major hits, with the peculiar exception of the Number One hit "Where Does the Good Times Go". Besides the hits, a number of great non-hits are also included, This is great stuff, which I highly recommend.

Buck Owens Collection 1959-1990 Sep 13, 2007 This will take you back to the fun years, when country music was still country. I have yearned for years to have such a set on CD, our record player doesn't work anymore. Wow! when I started searching for CD's to replace LP's of all of my Country-Western music. These are the best, they sound just like the records, only better. If you are looking to get CD's to replace your records, this is your best bet.

Buck lives on! May 26, 2007 Like Merle Haggard and Wynn Stewart, Buck Owens is the personification of the Bakersfield sound. This box set covers some of his very best material, and features a well-written booklet cram-packed with information to help take you through the years of one of country's top artists. Like Haggard, Buck's backing musicians are as good as they come, led by the incomparable Don Rich.
