 good music,not so nice people... Jan 18, 2010
well 2 of them any way,this is one of the best albums i have heard in years,but like shawn tackett,DUANE ALLEN,AND JOE BONSALL are acting like jerks to some of their fans,like it matters what we think in our private life,we put money in your pocket big boy, if not for us fans you would have been flipping burgers in a fast food place!!! so these songs that you sing about love and to forgive,do you mean them? i mean we got a email from john mir threatening to get lawers on us,for what? WANTING DUANE TO APOLOGISE FOR ACTING LIKE A JERK!!! i will listen to their music,but i do not have a very high opion of duane or joe at the moment!!!! go buy the qalbum there are some good songs,but be careful if you join their board,duane might get nasty with you!!!

This is one of the best oaks cds ever.... them recording songs like seven nation army, the boys are back, really hard rocking songs.... and ballads like beautiful bluebird, are just great... richard on boom, boom is awesome!! the oaks need to stick with david cobb.... he gave them a freshness that they needed.... my only problem with the cd is the messages... the oaks sing about god, love and jesus... yet two of their members do not practice what they preach..... DUANE ALLEN, AND JOE BONSALL, talk very mean to their liberal fans on message boards.... duane allen called me and my younger brother, stupid for sticking up for obama... he let's mean people post very mean and racial posts about obama, and when democratic fans try to say something... DUANE ALLEN THE LEAD SINGER gets mad, calls us stupid, and throw us off the message board... he is avery mean person, and my brother has epilepsy, and duane called him stupid, this is supposed to be a man, who sings about the teachings of jesus??? ... so the songs about jesus, have no meaning.... if the oaks are not going to follow jesus's teachings about love, and accepting others,... then they shouldn't sing these songs at all.... great music, the messages in the gospel songs just get lost...

WONDERFUL TO HEAR A NEW CD FROM THEM!! SAW THEM IN CONCERT THE WEEKEND BEFORE ORDERING THIS. EVERYTHING THEY SAID IT WOULD BE.

It's hard to put this CD into any musical genre or category. They cover everything from rockabilly,
to soul, to gospel. This has to be one of the most raw recordings I've ever heard and it works to
perfection. Portions don't seem to have been "EQ'd" in the studio and it makes for a unique listening experience. If you love traditional country, the song "Mama's Table" is for you. William Lee Golden is featured on a great cover of Neil Young's "Beautiful Bluebird". I've seen them perform most of these in concert and they are having the time of their lives. The only song that I don't really care for on this CD is "Seven Nation Army", but that's a minor distraction. Everytime I put this into my player I want to listen to it from top to bottom. This has to be one of the most "different" releases the Oak Ridge Boys have ever done, and I love it!
