The Best of YoungBloodz: Still Grippin' tha Grain Jan 16, 2007 After three album's the Youngbloodz deliver "The Best of YoungBloodz: Still Grippin' tha Grain" (2006) a thirteen track release which features appearances from Lil Jon, Young Buck, Jazze Pha, Killer Mike, Big Boi & Backbone. The Youngbloodz are a Atlanta duo which consists of J-Bo (A.K.A. Jeffrey Ray Grigsby) and Sean Paul (A.K.A. Sean Paul Joseph). The duo open up this release with hit tracks "Presidential" and "Damn" feat. Lil Jon (Eight of the track's on this were released originally as singles). My favourite Youngbloodz track is "85" an exceptional track about cruising and good times, gotta love that chorus. Another favourite of mine which is not included on this release but came out on Step Up Soundtrack is an outstanding cut called "Imma Shine". "Cadillac Pimpin" is another entertaining cut about cruising, while "U-Way" (How We Do It) has the Youngbloodz rhyming over a sinister sounding beat. G-Unit's Young Buck tag teams "Datz Me" with the Youngbloodz. The duo show their love for drinking "Tequila", rhyming away and singing like they had been drinking it when they made the track. "The Best of YoungBloodz: Still Grippin tha Grain" is a release worth checking out, especially for those who have not been following them over the years.
