Judias Priest: Best of CD. Sep 28, 2009 Living After Midnight: Which wasn't remastered and came out in 1998. Still a good record, contains, some of Judas Priest's best material, along with live tracks. The sound quality is still good regardless of the fact that this is not the remastered disc.
Great Collection of Classic JP Material Jul 03, 2009 I can't say enough about the goodness of this CD. Whether you like good old rock and roll, heavy metal, or just awesome music this CD will serve you well. One of my favorite things about this particular collection is how it moves from old classics like "The Green Manalishi" to the newer gems like "Metal Meltdown." You really can't go wrong with this compilation.
NOTE TO CHRISTIANS:
For a long time, I avoided JP's music like the plague (mainly because I thought their name had some anti-Christian connotations...) I recently (reservedly) delved into their lyrical content, and I've been rather impressed. JP shows serious restraint in almost every area and creates some truly excellent music.
totally worth it Jun 13, 2008 This CD provides a broad sampling of music from the legendary rock band Judas Priest. The amount of music you receive for the price is totally worth it.
Sad Wings of Destiny completely overlooked??? May 09, 2008 I know the songs on this album were hand-picked by Judas Priest members themselves, but I am actually shocked that only one song from their 1976 album Sad Wings of Destiny (that song being Victim of Changes, amazing by the way) was included on here. That album is generally viewed as a top 3 of theirs (along with Stained Class and British Steel) and it is way underrepresented on this compilation. I think they could have made room for Dreamer Deceiver, Deceiver, and Tyrant on here. Or at least 2 of those...sigh, just one man's opinion.
Priest at their best Mar 29, 2008 Vintage Judas Priest in their hayday, the mix was enchanced in the studio and the live aspect is a bit flawed, however, the song selection and the content is out of this world. One of Priests best.
