Terrific Dec 01, 2003 I started listening to Hubert Laws when I was learning to play the flute and someone recommended him to me. I'm very glad they did. This is a great jazz CD from start to finish, and a good introduction to Laws. Even if you not a huge jazz fan, you'll probably enjoy this music, there's a little bit of everything in the compilation...Bach, James Taylor, John Coltrane, Bizet, etc.

When it comes to jazz flute there is Hubert Laws............ Nov 14, 2000 and then there is everyone else. In addition, this cd shows off his exceptional classical talents as well. A terrific overview of his music. I wish I could find some of his earlier cds too! Simply the best!!!
