One of the best Christmas CDs ever Feb 10, 2010 I never get tired of this CD. Even my brother (who generally hates Christmas music) claims this is his favorite. This is not just a thrown together holiday collection. It's a true compliation of interesting traditional solstice/Christmas music a la Chieftains.
Best Christmas CD ever! Jan 09, 2010 Whenever I want to give someone a collection of Christmas music, I always choose Bells of Dublin. The Chieftains are classic, their choice of songs not the usual run of the mill holiday fare. You won't hear Jingle Bells when you listen to this one. Burgess Meredith and Jackson Browne are only two of the many artists who contribute their voices to this CD.
Mt FAvorite Christmas Album Dec 24, 2009 Simply put, I own quite a few holiday albums. This one is my favorite of all.

Best. Christmas. Music. Ever. Mar 12, 2009 The Chieftains outdid themselves with this wonderful cd. This remains such a perennial favorite that I've worn out two copies of the cd and have gifted it to friends.
It puts me in the spirit of the season, every year. I never get tired of any of it.

A Timeless Classic Jan 28, 2009 This Christmas album is perfection. For many years I've began playing it in our home on Thanksgiving day and continue playing it through Christmas. Our whole family enjoys it every year and will do so for many years to come.
