 Suicidal Tendencies Oct 26, 2009
Pretty good CD by the Punk-Skate rockers. I like their earlier CDs, but this one is a good buy, too.
 Peter Collins had no right to produce this album Aug 28, 2009
He just plain ruined it. The magic that Collins has with Queensrhyche he just doesn't have it with Suicidal Tendencies. I knew that this was going to be a terrible album after hearing "We Call This Mutha Revenge" The guitars are not as dominant here as they were on the classic "Lights...Camera...Revolution", and that was the one thing that turned me onto Suicidal Tendencies was their sonic-angry guitars. Here it sounds like the group is trying to wax metal with rap, and not succeeding. To me Suicidal Tendencies should've taken the risk, and produced this album themselves, or stuck with the guy who produced "Lights...Camera...Revolution". None of these songs are good, and I would not buy this album. It's a long way down from being nominated for a grammy with "Lights...Camera...Revolution", but perhaps that was the problem. Maybe Suicidal Tendencies wasn't destined for being commercial. They just lucked out with "Lights...Camera...Revolution.

I bought this CD in the early 90's , loved the band and then forgot about it. Recently I repurchased it and ripped it on to my MP3 and it is still a great hear.

This is a great album & the production was the best for ST at that time.It's very versitile allright, but it's hard to compare to their earlier albums-a different mammal.I agree that it's definetely better then ''suicidal for life'' but I liked that one to back in '94.When I got ''Rebellion'' I thought lots of the vocals sounded like Steve Miller-isn't that funny? you know with the doubling.The album is so bruizin' in yo face that it sure makes it's presence known! Whatever happened to Rocky George? I stopped reading the guitar mags-someone please tell me!!! He was one of my guitar heroes with Alex Skolnick, Marty Friedman & Tipton/Downing.He smoked the fretboard of his Ibanez!I spent many hours trying to cop his dangerous pyrotechnics on all his ST albums & his style was unique-he'd hit these very melodic ''unexpected'' notes on his axe plus his style seemed to change alot from album to album.I also can relate to the lyrics.Up until then, no one I heard ever sang about stuff that hits so close to home & break some rules.Yeh these guys helped me thru depression phases allright.I finally saw them when they opened for Megadeth's ''extinction''tour-'Wish they played longer.This album kicks major booty!

this cds is the last great ST cd songs like can't stop,gotta kill capt. stupid,we call this muther revenge,monopoly of sorrows,tap into the power are definety ST classics but nobody hears and I'll hate you better are also great but show signs of real mental turment & person turmoil of Mike muir( understandible) but tearing the band down or at least off track.this cd is a must for ST fan!avoid suicidal for lifeit is a sad last stand!not very energetic buy dark & depressing!
