I like the album ATL Project Oct 18, 2005 I gave the ATL project 5 stars cause 1. I like those boys; they have good vocal skills they need to be shown to the world. I like the fact that they sing more than they dance because you could hear the 3 members (Tre, Will and Lrock) harmonize well, other than the heavy breathing that most singers/dancers do not knowing if they can sing live. Also because I think their cute-fav member Tre and Danger (rapper). 2. The album is good, I love the slow songs like "Let me", "You are", and "No more", I wish more songs were on the album. They left probably the best songs off for the UK cause they were going to put them on the US version, which didn't work out cuz the album never made it to the US. 3. They respond back to most fans not like other Artists. I mainly gave 5 stars because I like the group, the singing, the songs are good and they're nice. If you don't own it you should get it, it may not be the best to you but it's the best to me. I always wanted the album and I finally got it.

4.5 Stars....Excellent Debut Album Aug 05, 2005 Take four guys from various parts of the United States and put them together, and you have the group ATL. These guys never really got the promotion they deserved and didn't even release this album in the States, which is sad for them, considering this album is definitely one worth getting.
ATL's voices blend together well on all of the songs, even the faster ones. Check out "Calling All Girls", and R. Kelly production, that works well with their voices and is definitely worth a few spins. Also worth mentioning is "Holla At Ya Boy", which has a beat that'll make you bop your head. Even the intro, in which ATL introduces themselves individually, is worth checking out more than once.
The boys really shine on the slower numbers. "Make It Up With Love", the second single, is probably the best song on the album. The leads and chorus are sick and sound so smooth. Perfect single for this album. Also, "I Wish" has some spectacular leads from ATL and a then-unknown Ciara (Ms. Goodies herself). Those doubtful of Ciara's singing ability should check this one out. Ciara and ATL work well on this song. "No More" has a sample of Aaliyah's "I Miss You", but ATL makes it their own and it goes right along with the smoothness of the song. Don't sleep on "You Are" and "Let Me", two wonderfully written ballads in which the members of ATL display their excellent harmonies.
I had to knock off half a star for "Shawty", which was filler and an obvious attempt to boost sales (seeing that Cassidy was hot at that time). Also, there were some songs left off the album without even an explanation as to why (I would have LOVED to hear the rest of "I Know" versus the snippets, and I would have wanted to hear "Dangerous (For the Record)" which was on their website). If you're going to shine, shine brightly, and you can't quite do that with only 10 songs.
ATL is definitely worthy enough to return with a sophomore album, and definitely gifted enough to have longevity in the music industry. Here's hoping that we can get more. If you want a nice well-rounded album from some brothers that can SANG, pick this one up.
