Change of heart Feb 28, 2006 After Darren's last CD (which was horrible), I was weary to try this new one. But all the reviews said it was much better, so I gave him one last shot. At first, I was dissappointed, and thought I had made a mistake. But then I listened to it again. And again. Rapidly the songs grew on me, and now I listen to it almost daily. Summary: The unique style takes getting used to, but in the end, worth every penny 10-fold.

Very pleased Oct 09, 2005 Darren Hayes, on his own, has out-done himself with his work on this CD. His voice is angelic as it always has been and his lyrics are uplifting, deep and full of love. Spiritual, but not hymn music. You can tell he had done a lot of interpersonal discovery by going within and if I didn't know better myself his lyrics reflect the teachings in "A Course in Miracles".
The only thing I am not happy with is that the first half (6 songs) of the CD is alive and engaging and then suddenly the music dives and falls off leaving you feel as if the best part of the CD is the first half. The messages in the last half are fantastic and his voice does not need music with it to make a song a song, but it no longer becomes engaging music. The first half you want to turn it up to hear the full effects of the synthesizer blended with his beautiful voice and the last half you find yourself turning it down. Overall, it's well worth your money simply because of his messages and his voice.
