Old School meats Hip Hop Mar 22, 2009 Excellent early Neo Soul CD mixed several different ways. Very nicely done with great singing and production. Dope, Dope, Dope!
Tell me that Feb 04, 2009 I wish they would have included the album version of "Tell Me" on the remixes, but just to have a copy of that "raga mix" on cd is like gold. "Tell me" is an r and b classic and they don't make songs like this no mo, so ya gotta have it.
Starting The Opportunities Jun 10, 2007 When it comes to guilty pleasures and one hit wonders, the 1990's brought us so many of them in soul & R&B. There are very few of them that actually have still shown that they've delivered. Groove Theory was one of them. The duo of Bryce Wilson & Amel Larrieux, who later went on to solo status. But, when they made it with their debut single, they delivered. Tell Me, their signature song brought out a soulful and delicate track that actually has withstood the test of time. I like it because it is seductive and strong from the heart. I don't know if Groove Theory will ever reunite, but I hope there are more good soul songs like this that come out soon.
Song: B+

Love has always had a way of havin bad timing... May 11, 2003 Tell Me If you want me to(give you all my time) I want to make it good for you (cause you blow my mind) I promise girl(boy) that Ill be true (you're the perfect find) so tell me if you want me to...so goes the chorus of this incredible melody. Groove Theory had that magic in 95 and with this jam had radio nearly on lock. This is one of those unforgettable grooves that make you feel good inside. A classic easy going chill out 'tune' for the soul. Groove Theory remains true to their name and they drop one of the 90's most recognizable songs. A Must.
