Talladega Nights - The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (Unrated Full Screen Edition) Mar 12, 2010 NASCAR stock car racing sensation Ricky Bobby is a national hero because of his "win at all costs" approach. He and his loyal racing partner, childhood friend Cal Naughton Jr., are a fearless duo -- "Shake" and "Bake" by their fans for their ability to finish so many races in the #1 and #2 positions, with Cal always in second place. When flamboyant French Formula One driver Jean Girard challenges "Shake" and "Bake" for the supremacy of NASCAR, Ricky Bobby must face his own demons and fight Girard for the right to be known as racing's top driver. The characters are extremely funny. John C. Reily and Will Farrell make a perfect red-neck match in this comedy. So, whether you are a will Farrell fan or not, if you just enjoy fun movies that will have you laughing out loud from start to finish, than you should definitely check this movie out.
Ricky (Fricken) Bobby WTF? Mar 02, 2010 Typical Will Farrell movie. Riding very close to the wall of a waste of my time.
Kinda weird Feb 12, 2010 It's funny sometimes. How much do you like NASCAR? If ya like it, you'll prolly like this movie. I like it about 3 stars worth.

the funniest movie Feb 05, 2010 I have seen many movies in my day and some have been good then some were just straight out horrible, but Talladega nights the ballad of Ricky Bobby is probably one of the best movies I have ever seen.
This is mainly about this guy who grew up wanting to be a racecar driver. He basically lives by one phrase `If your not first your last', that is what his dad said one day at career day at his school. Eventually later on in his racing days he gets in a bad wreck and is in the hospital for a while, and closer to the end he drives again.
The whole thing could have been made just a comedy film, but unfortunately they made it more than that.
The best part was when they get the car to flip and roll to make it look like a actual nascar wreck. The way that they made the stuff look real was truly amazing. Any movie could have just made a car flip, but they did more with it. Added with sparks and other special effect features like the guy who went on the grass and kept spinning and after he gets done with it there was a picture or portrait of him.
The funniest part has to be when he gets out of his car and thought that he had caught on fire. So, he gets out of his racing suit and all he has on is his helmet, shoes, and underwear. So, after he gets out of his suit he runs to the fence on the turn of the raceway as he gets there he is saying all kinds of random things, but once he gets to the top he lays down and rolls to the bottom saying `Stop drop and roll!' Finally, they convinced him that he was alright, but to know more you will have to watch the movie.

Please buy the theatrical version, pleeeeeeease! Dec 14, 2009 I don't know what cut this is, I don't know who cut it, but there's a reason that it wasn't shown in the theatres. It's not funnier, in fact it takes every good joke remaining in this version (and many were cut in the um.. UNCUT version) and drags them out, beyond the point where all you want is the movie to end. Did I mention they cut out stuff from the theatrical version? Yup. This version doesn't make up for it by being more risque, it's not more violent, it's just stupid. The original theatrical release is much better. Even the extras are worse!
