Excellent!! Jul 06, 2009 Very satisfied with the item. The cd looks brand new. It played very good. It's my first time to purchase an item here in Amazon and it went very well..The price is a bargain too. I'm hoping to purchase more like this..
Switchfoot "Live in San Diego" = An Outstanding "Contemporary Christian Rock/Crossover to Pop" Concert DVD!!!!!! Apr 23, 2009 Switchfoot is simply outstanding in this concert dvd. This concert features songs from their breakthrough album CD "The Beautiful Letdown". This album had songs that crossed over into the mainstream "Pop" music scene. Some highlights include the "smash hits" - "Meant to Live", "Dare You to Move", "More Than Fine", & "Gone". It consists of 11 total songs with an approximate running time of 68 minutes. During the concert the band "testifies" about how great it is to be "saved". I can definitely related to this because, I am a Christian, and I'm very thankful to be "saved".
Plus, You get substantial bonus material including the "Meant to Live" Music Video, and "Behind the Scenes" material. I highly recommend this concert dvd, plus the related ones by "Contemporary Christian Rock Bands" of "Jars of Clay", "Stryper" and "Third Day". Switchfoot has toured with some of these other bands and they are included in the lastest DVD/CD Combo of Third Day's "Live Revelations" Tour (Please See My Review of That One Also). Anyway, thanks for reading my review and May God Bless!!!!
Switchfoot Live in San Diego Aug 24, 2007 Great music, but the sound quality could be better. The volume is weak and it doesn't really have a nice full sound. This band and music this good deserves a much better recording.
....the point of a live album is the crowd - don't mute them out! Mar 02, 2007 The point of getting a live DVD of Switchfoot as opposed to their perfected, mixed recordings is to hear the crowds complement the band's passionate music with THEIR energy, but the way the sound is mixed on this DVD makes Switchfoot seem like they're high on their music while the wild, jumping crowds you see in the background are just...silent. I always say that Switchfoot is a band meant to be seen live (you'll never hear their songs the same way again when you do), but, sadly, this DVD does not quite capture the energy they have when they perform for an audience. If you're still hung over from a live show, or want to see a bit of the real thing, bootlegs of their performances are available (...even official bootlegs!), and I believe those echo the energy of Switchfoot much better than this. I have all of the band's albums and I've seen them live twice (twice only because I was blown away by the first, which I actually almost did not go to because I thought the venue was a bit too far and not worth my energy--thank goodness I was wrong, because it turned out to be an experience of a lifetime), and even now I'm still certain I will continue to see them again and again and yet again in the future. Just not on this DVD.

The album is better than this DVD Oct 27, 2005 I really enjoyed Switchfoot's CD "The Beautiful Letdown". It is ground breaking album for this up and coming band. Unfortunately, this DVD does not do the best job of representing the band's efforts. As others have noted the sound quality is not great, and the video footage does not capture much of the band's energy. Simply put - it is somewhat boring to watch.
On the positive side, the song list from the concert does include all the best songs from "The Beautiful Letdown". But, I was disappointed that there was not more extra material beyond the concert. There are a few short interviews, and a video, but nothing more. Therefore, I recommend that listeners stick with the CD, it is much better than this DVD.
