Country? Really? Not really so much.... Apr 29, 2009 I love & listen to this album as much as any other Social D album.
Some people have said that this album is "country" and not "punk."
Well... Some people are deaf. Others are, well, dumb.
Between the two you'll find people that say Mike Ness & Social Distortion went "country..."
Seriously? Shania Twain comparisons? Sound aside, and no offense to Mike Ness, Shania fills out her jeans much better than Mike ever could!
Oh, and it's called Bluegrass, not Country, man... Roots. This album is solid, and actually shows how Mike & the guys have matured along the way. If you think this album is country, you've got a long way to go, dude.
That, and anyone who can tell me "Cold Feelings" is a country song... well, umm... yeah right... better luck next time!
Why is this album so underrated? Dec 30, 2008 I am very disappointed this album is not even on the list from the book of 100 albums you must hear before you die. This is just an awesome album by Orange County, CA punks. If you are someone interested in listening to great music this is a must and you don't have to be "into" punk. If you like good music you Will like it, I guaranty it. A classic must have for all fans of music.
rocks Sep 17, 2008 Great. Buy it. Get all the Social D you can. You won't regret a minute. And don't forget the solo Mike Ness.

Not my favorite Jul 14, 2008 Social D has two distinct sounds and this album is heavy on the rockabilly and light on the punk-influenced rock. Social D is my all-time favorite band, but to label them punk rock is to imply that Mommy's Little Monster was their only release. This album is most similar to Prison Bound in my opinion. If you think White Light White Heat White Trash is their best work than you are a fan of their heavier sound an probably won't appreciate this one as much. That is where I fall. So while I like the record it's one of my least played Social D CD's.
Tasty Jun 03, 2008 I feel like a kid who missed the bus. I know Social Ds radio songs but picked up this album a couple of months back and I absolutly love it. Rock at its finest. Bye Bye Baby is my favorite song on here. I just picked up their self title CD and I am absorbing it as we speak. Yum.
