Great voices! Nov 26, 2007 These 2 have such amazing voices and their harmonies and beautiful. They sound like they were meant to sing together and each song is sung with such feeling. I highly recommend Sin Banderas to anyone that loves to hear great music, great voices, great harmonies....etc.
the debut album of one of the best Latin pop duos today.... Oct 28, 2006 I had to make this album a part of my CD collection, since I already have "De Viaje" and "Manana," Sin Bandera's 2nd and 3rd albums. Their self-titled debut definitely showcases them well, and this was only the beginning! The best way to describe their sound is "fusion." They combine pop riffs, salsa beats, flamenco and even ranchera music with their own unique flavor and beautiful harmonies. Some of the strongest songs here are "Entra Mi Vida" (featured in pop, ranchera and grupero style on the CD). It is gorgeous and melodious. I also especially reccomend "Sirena" (Mermaid), which is pure poetry set to music. The rest of the tracks equally carry their weight on this album, and it is ideal for a romantic evening with someone special. Even if you don't speak Spanish, this music will speak to your heart.....

Saving music Mar 31, 2005 While American music was stagnating and wholly uninspired in the last few years I was wondering if and when it would get it's act together. Mindless pop tunes with no soul autotuned to sterile perfection blared on every radio channel I knew that there had to be a glimmer of light somewhere to save music. I endured a few more years of this and finally it took me moving to San Diego California in 2002 to know that while American music had lost its passion the rest of the world however had not. Driving in my U-haul over the mountains east of San Diego the US channels faded to static and the Mexican stations took over. Soon I hear a sublime impassioned voice whispering passionately in Spanish. Though I do not understand Spanish the heartfelt emotions pouring from the singer backed by a wistful guitar, the message was clear. The music fanned the dieing embers of my heart and washed over me in a glorious candlelight. The Song I was as I have just recently found out was Sin Bandera's Te Vi Venir, easily the best piece of music I've heard anywhere, anyplace in the world in many years. My heart was inspired and the Romantic in me rekindled. I knew that hope had returned to music.
