Great album! Oct 14, 2009 Loved this album so much back in the day when a friend gave it to me, that I wore it out! Disc was so played it looked like it had been rubbed on the concrete! Interludes funny as hell, and the music.....epic! I loved it so much, had to buy it again! SPRECK! Enjoy!
Funk Metal to the Immigrant Song... Jun 09, 2009 This album is simply awasome! Drums, Guitars ... not to mention the FUNKY BASS. YEaa...
I love the Immigrant Song. I can't belove how much they changed it but it still sounds as the cover.
Don't Stop Sphread The Jam ... listen to the bass line on 0:25
Three Headed Mind Pollution ... is a nice fast tempo song
Actually, just listen to all the songs, they are awasome.
Funk it up! Oct 09, 2008 An amazing blend of metal and funk, but without that late 80s vibe their first album had. While "The Plague that Makes your Booty Move" was an amazing album, the 80s synth elements diluted it a touch. This album fixes this issue.
The slap bass is a masterpiece as usual thanks to Mr. Trujillo. The guitar is not unlike the face paced precise style of Suicidal Tendencies with funky highlights.Cyco Mike drops some fresh lyrics too, never taking himself too seriously.
The album hits hard but is not as heavy as "Groove Family Cyco", it's probably the most balanced album the grooves released. If you're a fan of any type of creative, non-bland metal, this is a great album to check out.
The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move Sep 21, 2007 This is an album that I have to break out from time to time just to get my fix. An absolutely overlooked gem. It's Mike Muir and Robert Trujillo from Suicidal Tendencies taking it to a maxed out funk level. Think Red Hot Chili Peppers on steroids (heavier, not funkier). This album is worth having just for the cover of "Immigrant Song" alone.
Sometimes really heavy, always super funky, this is a great party album. You can't feel bad while listening to this album.
must have for the IG fan Jan 04, 2007 While not as good an overall offering as some of their other efforts, this CD has some funky jams on it and lots of the humor from the first release.
