Amazon, never a disappointment. Mar 15, 2010 The mojority of my purchases have been DVDs and I have yet to be disappointed. Thank you Amazon.
Why aren't American pop albums this good? Jan 20, 2010 As a pop music fan, I've found in recent years that I usually have to venture overseas (musically speaking) to find quality, contemporary pop music.
Sam Sparro's album is probably the best pop album I've heard since Robyn's last album. It's fresh, it's fun, it's catchy, it's well produced, well sung, well written, and, unlike most American pop music, not an insult to your intelligence. When I first heard the intoxicating, slinky "Black and Gold" I was mesmerized. Although the rest of the album doesn't quite live up to that song's pop perfection, it is a quality sonic mash-up of classic funk, 80's synths, and 21-century pop.
One of my favorites! Jan 05, 2010 This is one of my favorite CDs ever... I listen to it every day! Most all of the songs are great, I like them all, but "pocket", "cotton mouth", "black and gold", "clingwrap", "sally" are some of my faves...
Dont hesitate, it is worth the money to check it out!!
Great Music for a Fashion Runway or Fashion Event Dec 21, 2009 I first heard about SAM SPARRO when reading an article on the Miami Fashion Magazine website FASHIFY.
The SAM SPARRO album has a clean, electronic, jazzy sound and makes for good listening when you're reading through fashion blogs, while organizing your wardrobe, and even when you're driving to your next modeling casting call.
This album should be every fashion professional's iPod or Zune. I feel like I have my own personal soundtrack when working on my fashion projects.
Witty and Remarkable Nov 05, 2009 I got this CD today, and have been playing it since the mailman left! This is a surprisingly versatile album, with songs that range from topics as silly as cottonmouth (which I will be humming all day tomorrow at work) to dissatisfaction with life, and all of them are good. If you enjoyed Jamie Lidell's last album Jim, give Sam Sparro a shot.
