This video is wonderful. It is Orbison doing his thing with some of his very famous friends backing him up. If you are over 30 and this doesn't take you on a long nostalgic ride you weren't listening to it. Roy's voice is magical and effortless. He never strains and hits every note perfectly!

I can't wait to have my friends over to share this with them. A truly great experience.
Listening to it on my new Home Theater system and it is just beautiful.
But the DVD really touched me. His performance of "Crying" is outstanding.
Again, Just buy it and play it. You can thank me later.

After listening to this several more times and sharing it with a few friends it is even better than I first reported.
What an outstanding work or art, music and presentation.
I know this will sell a lot of blu ray players and sound systems when I have my friends listen and watch this performance.
If I could only play one item on my Home Theater it would be this and I would be happy.
Again, just buy it and share it.

If you love these old songs, you will love this black and white
DVD with great singers. I must for any collection!!

My wife gave me Roy Orbison's Black & White Night (Blu-Ray) DVD recently. I love music, but I'm hard to please when it comes to live performances, simply because too many musicians live on stage are three sandwiches short of a picnic lunch trying to perform their original recorded music. This is what sets this DVD and Roy Orbison apart from most others. Orbison has always been able to sing his songs live just as great as the original recordings sounded, even two and three decades after releasing his recordings. Black & White Night captures all of his MAGIC. He is brilliant!! The All-Star cast is outstanding too, and they were having great fun throughout the entire performance. I challenge anyone to find a better live performance. To each his own in their choice of music, but this performance is special, and is without a doubt my favorite live performance DVD. To me, it's a Classic already in my DVD collection, simply because it just doesn't get any better than this one. Charles Norris
